My First Stampin' Up Demonstration Party

I had my first workshop with a few of my friends and wow! what a party.  I was a little nervous and repetitive but of course, I made it through with flying colors.  Teaching myself the ropes as I go & teaching others at the same time is quite difficult at first.  But, if I can do it, ANYONE can do it.

With providing technique & layering, my new stampers did great!  Here are the make n takes the ladies worked on in the workshop:

This was a favorite to everyone, enhancing the project with grass using clean, fresh colors of the new brights collection.  Material used:  Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive cs, Tempting Turquoise ink, 3/4" Twill and of course, the lovely Upsy Daisy SU Stamp Set.  Alot of compliments of ease, simplicity, and fun cutting grass for the daisies.

Mood:  Relaxed

This was an intermediate level project, providing instruction time & hands on.  Ladies were looking for concept at first, and after putting hardware was on, the project brought ooohs & wows, look what I made!   Completing the project with a stamped sentiment inside the card, & with technique and layering, it was fun to teach this one to new stampers.

Material used:  Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White cs, Daffodil Delight ink, 3/8" Twill, Ice Rhinestone Brad, and of course, Upsy Daisy SU set.

Mood:  Anxious

And at last our third card, showing Upsy Daisy as a versatle stamp set, incorporating another stamp set to sentiment the design.  My friends really liked this one because the Daffodil just popped the design right out, too, an eye catcher with Melon Mambo.  Another intermediate level project with punching and layering.   Material used:  Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Whisper White cs, Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo ink, eyelet border & oval scallop punch, scissors to cut the butterfly, & again showing different ways with the Upsy Daisy & Hello Again Stampin' Up Sets.

Mood:  Accomplished

Thank you ladies for allowing me to be your demonstrator for your first time stamping.  It was great meeting all of you, we will do it again!  Orders will be in next week, so we will be sharing new experiences again soon.  Call me if you have any questions!

Our next project is going to be with Priceless SU Set, a wonderful set of new designs.

Hello Again SU Set

This is a make & take done at Kim's house, my upline, and we had a really good time enjoying the last bit of Crushed Curry.   The description of material are as follows:  Hello Again SU set, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, & Whisper White cardstock, & Crushed Curry polka-dot ribbon!  So simple & sweet.

I really treasure the projects we do at Kim's house, it helps with color coordinating and add in's to make the project look fresh and clean.

Cottage Wall DSP

I just love how Stampin' Up coordinates all their products.  Making this card was easy with a variety of punches, stamps & grosgrain ribbon, creating layers with Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper; even added a brad for the stamped flower.

This card was made for a family member on her Birthday, along with a matching gift bag, designed with Cottage Wall DSP also.
